Are you grieving the loss of a loved one or a relationship? Or perhaps you are struggling to let go of a version of your life that has forever been changed? Do you ever feel like you need support in moving on from the things in your past that hold you back from your future?  If any of these questions speak to why are you are considering therapy, then I think we might make a good match.

Underlying every therapeutic relationship I have, is the desire to help people become a better version of themselves.  To help them live their lives more fully and to support them in moving more confidently into their future. Whether we begin our work together on anxiety and depression issues, improving interpersonal communication skills, relationship problems or divorce, grief and loss, or self esteem and future planning; we always come back around to this question. "What does the life you want look like?" Then we work together to help you get there. 

My goal as a therapist is to help people identify and then create the life they want to live. My approach is centered around helping people identify and accept the things they cannot control, and then work to help them become excited about the options and possibilities they do have control over. My focus as a therapist is always to support people in making positive, meaningful change in their lives. My technique is to provide genuine honest support through thoughtfully direct feedback.

I primarily offer individual services based on client-focused, strengths-based principles. I draw from several therapy modalities, but consistently find that it is personal connection that really supports  people to make positive changes in their lives. 

I offer Telemental Health services through a HIPAA compliant provider called Doxy. It is extremely user friendly and can be done from computers, mobile devices, and smart phones. The only requirements are a microphone, a camera, and a good wi-fi connection. 

I have extensive experience as a trainer and speaker. I am able to cover a wide range of topics including, but not limited to: Dealing with Stress / Anxiety, Help in overcoming Depression, Parenting Skills, Divorce Education for Parents, Self Esteem, TIme Management, Self Compassion, The Enneagram, and Interpersonal Communication Skills.
